The distance between Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki is approximately 1.5 hours by car. Chalkidiki consists of three peninsulas, Kassandra, Sithonia and Agion Oros. It is a lush green region with clean beaches and azure waters. Prefecture capital is Polygyros and other cities are Moudania and Ouranoupolis. In Chalkidiki, there are magnificent country villas, situated in big land plots, near the sea or situated in mountainous regions.
